National Highways

National Highways are principal road networks that connect regions, provinces, districts, and important locations across the country. They are constructed, expanded, rehabilitated, and maintained by the Department of Highways, and are officially registered as national highways.

Duties and Responsibilities of Nakhon Sawan Highway District 1

• To supervise, inspect, and control designated highway routes and related works.
• To control, maintain, expand, and protect highway right-of-way areas.
• To determine highway alignments and carry out land expropriation for the construction or expansion of highways.
